Tula Pink's City Sampler Blocks 56-70

I can't believe how quick I'm making these suckers! I somehow managed to crank out 15 blocks today and complete the entire Stripes chapter! Phew! My blocks are untrimmed and not pressed very well so please don't judge me...haha. If you're wondering why my fabric choices are so funky, it's because I'm only using scraps and FQ's. Also, I'm trying to imitate the colors that Tula uses in the book :)
Onto the Squares chapter tomorrow.

Lately, my block pics may be a little dark or have a shadow over them. Sorry for that. I'm pulling pics from my phone that I've posted to instagram. Feel free to follow me! @steph_quarterincherquilting

  1. Great blocks! I love the pinks in 56. I just got this book for Christmas. Any advice before I get started?

  3. Actually I was glad to see your blocks untrimmed. It shows me that everyone needs to trim. I had been feeling bad that my blocks weren't coming out perfect even checking 1/4 inch seam. So this happens to all! :) And your projects look so perfect when I've looked at your previous pics! Thanks for sharing.

  8. Such fun, exciting colors. I usually go for the more conventional colors. I have to get out of my box! I long to have your exuberance.
Maybe I should get the book to tempt me.
