Sherbet Punch Block

Have any of you made a block from Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks Magazine (vol. 7) yet? I only just now open it up and picked one out. There are so many great blocks to choose from! I picked out #618 Sherbet Punch from Faith Jones of Fresh Lemon Quilts. I loved the original colors she picked out but needed to give it a punch! So I came up with my own colorful print version.

    Love it with the prints! The colors are perfect. And I love that little squiggle print you used as background (I keep putting it in my "cart" and then editing it out before I buy--maybe I should just do it!) I'm with you, why solids when you can use prints, huh? :)
