Moda Friendship Quilt Along Quilt Blocks!

What a beautiful Wednesday it is! Welcome back, today I'll be posting about a project I just completed. I'll be linking all the patterns for each block.


In February, Moda Fabrics was hosting a Friendship Quilt Along. It was so fun! In case you missed it, I wanted to show you my blocks and finished quilt top. If you want to get some ideas for some other fabric selections, check out the Moda Friendship Quilt Along Flickr Page.

I wanted to do something different- use as many of my scraps as possible with a grey background. I used tons of different bold & fun prints. Even though some of the colors on each block may not "go" together, they all tie in very nicely with the grey background.

    Wow~! Great job. I haven't started mine yet, but it's at the top of my to-do list. Any idea on how you're going to quilt it?

      Hi Mary, Thanks for your comment! I haven't really thought about it yet to be honest. I usually send out my quilts to have them quilted by someone else. I just do piecework mostly. She'll make some excellent suggestions I'm sure or maybe just a good old fashioned Stippling. When it gets quilted I'll post another picture!
