A big thanks for Mdm Samm of Sew We Quilt for hosting as always!
I just don't have the energy or creativity to make something up on my own right now. Too many brain cells are required for that and I'm just too dang tired at the moment. Pregnancy is so much fun isn't it?
So I decided to use a lovely cathedral window pattern from Kim at My Go-Go Life on Moda Bakeshop for this hop. I used some lovely charms of "Sophie" by Chez Moi for Moda I had on hand. I made the cute little flower in the center to hide my seams. They turned out pretty good actually...but I still wanted to hide them anyways. Besides, the flower gives it the "cute" factor it needs plus a little dimension. It's just the right touch :)

Sorry for the lack of enthusiasm...I'm sure it'll start coming back slowly as the first trimester passes.
Be sure to check out the other blogs on the hop for today!
I love your pincushion. It looks so neat! I can never get a nice cathedral window to look like I want it to! Well done. Think of it this way..... You are doing the most creative thing EVER! You are creating a whole new little live! You need all your braincells to do that..... It is a small miracle that you managed to do anyting at all, let alone make a beautiful pincushion! Little warning.... You are not allowed to use this creation as a pincushion!
ReplyDeleteHave to make one of these my self they are adorable.
ReplyDeleteWarm regards from Holland,
Marga♥
Love your cathedral window! I have a friend who made a king size quilt from this pattern. It took her 3 years... she said each square took over 45 minutes... I don't think this one is on my to-do list anytime soon. lol
