Retro Rucksack Blog Tour

Retro Rucksack | Radiant Home Studio

Yay! It's my turn on the Retro Rucksack Blog Tour! Welcome to my blog if this is your first time here. Have a look around and stay awhile. I've teamed up with Sara of Radiant Home Studio to showcase her great pattern for the Retro Rucksack.

I gotta tell you that I've never made a bag like this before and was a little nervous to get started in fear that I'd screw it up somehow or another. First, I set out for a great print for the bag. I scored some fabulous Denyse Schmidt County Fair Home Decor fabric and thought it'd be perfect!

The bag came together nicely and actually fairly quickly. The pattern was clear and easy to understand. The pictures were a huge help whenever I wanted to triple check something.  All in all I had a great time putting this bag together and would recommend the pattern hands down! You can purchase the pattern on Sara's website along with a couple of other great patterns as well!

  3. Hi Stephanie. What a lovely bag and such a nice surprise when you open the main zipper and see that gorgeous fabric. It was so much fun making this bag and I'm really enjoying seeing how the other testers made theirs. Added bonus is finding new blogs.
