I finally got around to making a triple-zip pouch. I used a tutorial of Debbie's of A Quilter's Table. I think picking out the fabrics almost took as long as actually making it! I wanted something very modern & geometric AND all I had on hand were black zippers. I didn't want something cutesy with black zippers! That would look just awful! I actually had some Kaffe picked out but then remembered the black zippers...BOO! So what goes good with Black zippers? Well, ummm...how about black? Ok, black AND some color! Here it is!
I used a silvery grey thread for the top stitch. Just wait until you see the liners...
Isn't this fabric fun? I won it from Leona's Quilting Adventures. I love it! Thanks Leona!!!
Aren't the liner prints fun?! I love the way it turned out!
So there you have it. Check out the tutorial from Debbie and make one of your own!
Love it! I spied this tutorial this morning - and I'm dying to make one.

ReplyDeleteFun fabric choices, Stephanie. I like the different lining colour - very fun! Thanks for linking up to TGIFF!
ReplyDeleteHow cute! At some point I'm gonna have to suck it up and get over my phobia of zippers. I'm not to that point yet. :-)
ReplyDeleteLove the lining. Such a great touch.
ReplyDeletecute, cute!! I tell you though, I'm afraid of anything that isn't a quilt (and I'm even afraid of some of those too!) haha!
