Do things look a little different around here? I've been doing some blog housework and changing things up a little bit at a time. It took me a while to decide on the white background. It's just not fun at all so I may add a punch of color eventually. I'm still working on it so bare with the changes until everything is set the way I want it
If you've been following me, I'm sure you know I took a break for a while due to my first trimester pregnancy. Let's face it...pregnancy wipes you out. I didn't want to eat, didn't want to sew, I just wanted to sleep all day. Luckily, that only lasts a couple months (for me anyway) and my creative spark has returned.
While I was on sewing leave, I missed out on the last few projects from the Zakka Along for the Patchwork Please! Book by Ayumi Takahashi. Well, I decided I wasn't going to let this baby keep me from finishing the book! So I grabbed my book this past week and picked up from where I left off.
Here's my Pencil Pouch. This little sucker has some crazy small paper piecing but I love they way it turned out. I'll admit I had to use the seam ripper a few times but it's done and I'm happy!
Your pencil pouch is wonderful. Lots of interesting detail. Happy to hear your are feeling yourself again. It's been a long time since my last pregnancy. I do remember that bit of tiredness and not wanting to do anything.
