Charming Chevrons

I decided it was finally time to make a Chevron Quilt. I've been meaning to start one for quite sometime but hadn't found the fabrics or style I wanted yet. After browsing around...I came across this...

 Yep! That's the one!!! I'm in love with modern quilts & solids right now.  So I quickly ordered the kit over at Christa Quilts and now I'm plugging away! Plus...It happened to be 20% off AND I had coupon codes for even more of a discount. Can I say LOVE? Seriously! These colors are SOOO pretty in real life. They are seriously gorgeous! I'm loving the new Kona Cotton Color Pallet. Here's how my progress is looking so far...
(yes, I know it's Finish Friday and not WIP Wednesday. But I had to have something to blog about today!)

Now I have to trim each and every single one! AHH, there are 168 squares! Oh well, it's gotta get done...so off I go! See you later!

    Love it!! I have had a fabric stack for a good 6months but it keeps getting slid down on the priority list. Your quilt is making me want to bring it up on the priority list! Have a great weekend!

    I love Christa's Charming Chevron quilt, but instead of just going with the Kona New Classic charms, I also got the Kona Bright, Dusty & Dark charm packs to give a little extra variety. I hope to start working on it next month. Can't wait to see how your quilt turns out.
