Giveaway Day! THIS GIVEAWAY IS CLOSED!


 Yay! It's the start of Giveaway Day on Sew Mama Sew! Which is actually a week long :) Whoo-hoo!!! Up for grabs are 2 fat quarters and a spool of White Hand Quilting Thread! What the heck, I'll throw in a couple small spools of Sulky thread & White #8 Perle Cotton as well!


Just leave a comment below telling me what's the best thing you've ever won! If you become a google follower to the right, follow me on bloglovin or facebook leave another comment telling me so for another entry! That's up to 4 entries per person :) This giveaway is now closed.

    The best thing I ever won was tickets to a Greenday concert and I got to go down in front of the stage for the first 9 minutes of the concert to take pictures--so cool!

    When my son was 3 I entered a drawing at Burger King for a box of toys and stuff related to the Aladdin movie. The prize was for him, but a parent had to enter. When we won and that big box got delivered he was so excited! He's 23 now and he still wins things -- and still gets excited about it.

    Fabric-wise the best thing i won was a bundle of Sew Stitchy. But otherwise, I won a contest to have a chef come to my home once a week to cook for a family of 4. Well, ours was a family of 6, plus my daughters help cook. So I took the cash option instead which was $9000. Loved it!

    A large spool box of Edita Sitar's Over the Rainbow Thread collection, through an after market contest at one of the local shops. When I rec'd the call, the gal who runs the mystery club I belong to would not tell me what I won, but did say she'll keep it if I did not p/u. When I went to p/u one of the girls from my guild who works there teased, that I was no longer her friend. I have had so much fun quilting the vibrant colors!

    The best thing I've won was an Accuquilt GO! Baby fabric cutter from their Facebook page! I was so excited! The only bummer was it didn't come with a die so I had to wait another week until my die and mats came in, but it's super great! So thankful I was lucky enough to win one!     Weirdly couldn't get the link from SMS to work, but Google came to the rescue. I won a tin full of those little roll-a-ball-around handheld puzzles once - first thing I ever won and was so excited. I think some of them are still at my parents' house. And a year and a half ago I won a wrist bag from Amy at Badskirt in the SMS giveaway - I mentioned I was pregnant, so she sent it with a pack of wipes inside; the baby showed up two weeks early and those were the only wipes we had! So that's the most useful :) (And it's still in constant use as my changing kit.)

    When I was 13 I won a makeup bag filled with goodies including the brightest blue eye shadow you ever saw. It was a prize from my local Woolworth's. I was not allowed to wear makeup to school but I sported that azure at every slumber party for a year.
